Facing pressure from U.S. authorities, Intrade announced Monday that it will no longer offer "real-money" accounts for users in the United States.
The announcement comes after the Commodity Futures Trading Commission filed a civil complaint against the Dublin, Ireland-based operators of Intrade, an online prediction market.
